About

Welcome to the Oxford Comma. Our mission is to explore the systems we navigate in our ever-changing society: figure out what works, what doesn’t, and find solutions that can be applied in whatever way they can.
We use journalism and scientific tools to try and get us to a better understanding of the complex mechanics behind these systems and the decisions that govern them. We are going to talk to experts, dig into scientific reports, and take long deep-dives into any given subject; striving to find the most accurate and up to date information available.
Most importantly, our approach is from a learning perspective. That means we try to fight that carnal urge within us to talk and spread our opinions, and instead find the power to listen keenly.
There will be time for reflection when we sit down after examining a topic and ask ourselves, “What did we learn, what did we miss, and where do we go next?”
Then we will continue our journey to find evolving answers to these difficult questions. A journey that will take us to strange places, down roads that lead to nowhere, and sometimes to revelations. We are hoping our project will help build a vehicle, or at best find some directions, to get us as a society closer to where we want to be.

Thank you for joining us on this road.
